Dr Elspeth Horwitz, MBChB (Hons), FRACP, Clin Fdn Pall Med, is a Sydney-based consultant geriatrician and Staff Specialist at Mona Vale Hospital, where she works with the BRACE (Beaches Rapid Access Care of the Elderly) service. She also provides Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment for older adults with cancer through GenesisCare and works in community geriatrics, including home visits and residential aged care.

Elspeth has a special interest in the care of older adults with cancer and the role of Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment in supporting patients throughout cancer treatment. Her broader clinical interests include frailty, dementia and palliative care, with a focus on person-centred care that optimises quality of life, maintains function and supports independence.
