Kristy-Lee Raso is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and PhD candidate with over 10 years of clinical experience in gastrointestinal surgery and oncology. Her research focuses on prehabilitation for gastrointestinal cancer surgery, particularly its implementation, adherence, and the optimisation of outcomes through nutritional care. She led the PREHAB-GI study, a multimodal prehabilitation program at Concord Hospital, which underpins her PhD, and contributes to state and national initiatives, including the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) Prehabilitation Working Party, the GI Trials Lower GI Working Group, and the Sydney Health Partners Perioperative Care Clinical Academic Group.
