Rachel Williams

Prince of Wales Hereditary Cancer Centre, NSW

Rachel Williams is the Senior Genetic Counsellor Network Clinical Lead for the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, based at the Prince of Wales Hospital Hereditary Cancer Centre. She has more than 25 years’ experience in cancer genetic counselling and is the current co-chair of the Genetic Services Network, and past Co-Chair of eviq cancer genetics national reference committee. Rachel is also a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at UNSW Australia; Member of HGSA and ASGC sitting on several committees with HGSA. Rachel has an interest in providing evidence based information to health professionals, patients and their families to improve patient care. Rachel's research interests are in improved patient access to cancer genetics services, polygenic risk and hereditary gastrointestinal cancer conditions.
