Rebecca McIntosh

Rebecca is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over 20 years’ experience across acute, sub-acute and primary healthcare settings, encompassing clinical practice, leadership and management roles. She has led multiple state wide cancer malnutrition initiatives and is a co author of the Malnutrition Governance Toolkit. In primary healthcare, Rebecca led the implementation of Good Life – Cancer Survivorship, a multidisciplinary referral pathway at healthAbility that has expanded across Melbourne’s Eastern Region. At Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, she worked as a Senior Dietitian in the Nutrition and Speech Pathology Department, leading the state wide implementation of the CanEAT nutrition care pathway to support optimal nutrition care for people with cancer, their carers and health professionals. Rebecca is a past member of the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA) Cancer Survivorship Executive Committee and a current member of the COSA Nutrition Executive Committee. She has published in this area and works closely with clinicians, researchers and consumers to embed sustainable survivorship models into routine practice.
