On site

All ICC Sydney venues are connected via the Level 2 concourse, which is fully accessible, stair-free and gradient compliant, with multiple lifts throughout the precinct and lowered service counters at key customer service and retail areas.

A limited number of wheelchairs are available free of charge with photo identification. Wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, canes, prosthetic devices and prams are welcome throughout the venue, provided they don't block aisles, access paths or emergency exits.

Wheelchair hire locations
  • Convention Centre Customer Service (Ground Floor Lobby)
  • Exhibition Centre Customer Service (Level 2, next to Hall 4)
  • ICC Sydney Theatre Customer Service (Level 2, approx. 25m south of the lift entrance)

Accessible seating is available for concerts, performances and other live events at TikTok Entertainment Centre (Level 2 and Level 4) and Darling Harbour Theatre (Ground floor, Level 3 and Level 4). Companion Card tickets are also accepted for eligible events.

Accessible toilets, including left and right-hand railing ambulant toilets, are available across all buildings. A fully fitted changing place toilet is also on site. Ask any Customer Service team member for directions to the nearest facility.

Prayer rooms and wheelchair accessible parenting rooms are available in the Convention Centre, Exhibition Centre and TikTok Entertainment Centre, alongside all-gender inclusive amenities.

Accredited assistance animals and guide dogs are welcome throughout the venue. Please ensure your animal's identification badge or medallion is visible to venue staff.

ICC Sydney supports the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program, allowing delegates to discreetly indicate a non-visible disability and access additional time, support or understanding from staff. Visit any Customer Service desk for support.

The Convention Centre Café sells pre-made food, snacks, salads, coffee and drinks, and is cashless (Monday–Friday, 8am–2pm). Complimentary water stations are available in the café and throughout the venue.

First Aid rooms operate on the Convention Centre Ground Floor (next to the café), Exhibition Centre Level 2 (left of Customer Service), and ICC Sydney Theatre Ground Floor and Level 2. In a medical emergency, alert a team member or contact ICC Sydney Security on +61 2 9215 7660 (option 1). In a life-threatening emergency, always dial 000.

ICC Sydney asks all visitors to follow the venue's Conditions of Entry, listen to staff, be polite and respectful, use kind and positive language, and keep the venue smoke-free. See the full Conditions of Entry for details.

Sensory support

ICC Sydney maintains a Quiet Room on the Ground Floor of the Convention Building – a calm, low-stimulation space with dimmed lighting, comfortable seating and cool temperatures for anyone who needs to pause, rest or manage sensory needs. Guests are welcome to bring comfort items such as noise-reducing headphones, sunglasses or hats, and fidget or stimming devices. Speak to a team member at the Customer Service desk for directions.

Hearing augmentation is available in ICC Sydney Theatre and the Grand Ballroom, supporting Bluetooth®, Telecoil (T-Coil) and Cochlear-enabled devices. All other meeting rooms use infra-red systems via neckloop or lightweight headset. Complimentary receivers are available from Customer Service with photo ID.

Braille is provided on room door signage and fixed directional signage throughout the venue, and tactile flooring is in place at key egress points such as entryways, staircases and escalators.

A visit to ICC Sydney may include hard and carpeted floors, considerable walking (comfortable footwear is recommended), loud noises including electric hand dryers, very bright areas, different smells and scents, speaker announcements, and crowding. Quiet spaces are available for rest – ask a team member or follow venue signage.
