Louise is a proud Jaadwa woman and Traditional Owner from Western Victoria. In her current role at The Kids Research Institute Australia she manages Indigenous genomics policy, research and Community engagement projects and supports a national Indigenous Governance network of 40+ members. Addressing existing equity barriers faced by Indigenous Australians accessing health services and research including clinical trials is a strategic area of interest. Louse is a member of Cancer Australia’s Research and Data Advisory Group, a Commissioner for the Lancet Commission on Global Precision Health, and a member at both the Thiitu Tharrmay Advisory Committee and Mayi Kuwayu Data Governance Committee at the Yardhura Walani Centre, Australian National University.
