Clinical Associate Professor Merran Findlay PhD FDA is a Senior Research Fellow – Living Better With and After Cancer with the SPHERE Cancer Clinical Academic Group at UNSW Sydney. A Fellow of Dietitians Australia and recognised leader in cancer nutrition for more than 25 years, she has led the development of evidence-based guidelines and their implementation through service innovation. Her current work uses a learning health system approach to identify unwarranted variation and advance the use of supportive care metrics as an essential component of quality cancer care. Merran is an active member of the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia Nutrition Group Executive and a Board Director of the Australia and New Zealand Head and Neck Cancer Society.
