Michael Ellies is a patient living with stage 4 NSCLC who has experienced multiple treatments including targeted therapy, radiotherapy, surgery, chemotherapy and immunotherapy. He has a keen interest in emerging technologies and therapies. He is a non-executive director at biotech Sangui Bio (early colorectal cancer detection), The Australian Science Media Centre and chairs the NORTH Foundation at Northern Sydney Local Health District. Michael was formerly a C-level executive in ASX-listed media and financial services companies and a management consultant with McKinsey and Booz Allen Hamilton. Michael started his career as a medical doctor before completing a MBA at London Business School. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
