Teresa is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian and Assistant Director of Dietetics at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, with a passion for nutrition and cancer care survivorship research. She has over 20 years clinical oncology experience and completed her PhD on optimising nutrition outcomes for patients with head and neck cancer at the University of Queensland in 2017. She completed a RBWH post-doctoral fellowship to investigate the role of genetics in taste changes during head and neck cancer treatment and has just completed a 4-year Metro North Fellowship to investigate nutrition care pathways for head and neck cancer surgery.
