Dr Vicky Chin, MBBS FRANZCR PhD, is a Radiation Oncologist at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals, Sydney, Australia. Her clinical expertise includes the treatment of breast and lung cancers. Her PhD, awarded in 2024 by the University of New South Wales, investigates the impact on the heart and substructures for patients who have received thoracic radiotherapy. She is the recipient of the Frank Ellis Medal 2023. Her current postdoctoral research work is part of a NHMRC Synergy Grant team looking to better understand cardiac responses to radiation, to improve treatments for both cancer and cardiac patients.
